Hello, I am an inspired, creative individual who is always looking for a new challenge. You can often find me taking photographs, looking at design in all its forms or relaxing with a good book.
I have been studying at the University of Bradford and working for a design agency in Leeds called Chapter Eight for the past few years. At the moment I am looking for a new position around Berkshire, Hampshire or London. I like to create stunning and clean websites, as well as photography, programming and graphic design.

I have created business cards and magazine style design portfolio to show of my work and to have material to give out to new contacts.
This project was to build a content managed dynamic website which will help bring awareness to environmental events, organic produce and healthy life style within the local community. The website was developed on a PHP framework called CodeIgniter, which helps by adding extra security to the website functions and so speed up the development phase by simplifying the coding required.
Bookshelf was designed as an accessible mobile device website as part of the Design for Mobile Content and Applications module. The website integrates its own database of comments with Google Books information. It uses the Google API with the Zend gdata PHP framework to achieve its task of returning search results from the Google database.
This portfolio was for the Imaging and Design 2 module where we had to create a branding campaign, and this website portfolio was one part of this. Most of the elements where created by taking photographs of real items, processing them and also drawing illustrations to create the desired naturalistic effect.
These illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator using the gradient mesh tool. A photograph of a real object was taken, and used as a reference to model the shape and colours. The object of these illustrations was to create an image as photo realistic as possible, rather than a representation of the object.
The Paul Costelloe website is an ecommerce website at Chapter Eight. I designed and coded the entire front end of the website, and liaised with the client to meet their needs, as well as providing continuing support. The photography was taken at Chapter Eight and enhanced in Adobe Photoshop.
Gatecrasher is a very large night club brand, and I helped to design and create the new website for them at Chapter Eight. It has many advanced features with image and video galleries, events and news. Many of the elements on the site can be changed in the Content Management System, such as the colour of certain items, uploading new galleries and creating new venues.
Mitrefinch was recently redesigned by Chapter Eight. I helped to code up the design and liase with the client.
